Application:
The coupler pressure test apparatus is designed and used for the mechanical strength testing of appliance inlets designed for surface mounting with a metal shroud component.

Test sample:
Appliance inlets designed for surface mounting with metal shrouds.

2. Adjustable stroke: 0-50mm
3. Pressure: 40N±2N

Feature:
Appliance inlets designed for surface mounting and with a shroud of metal are compressed in a specially designed test apparatus, an example of which is shown in figure 20. The spherical end of the jaws shall have a radius of 20 mm±1 mm. A force of 40N±2N is applied to the shroud in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the shroud. After the test, there shall be no deformation or loosening of the shroud that might impair the further use of the appliance inlet.
